You can only have 3 projects but i think unlimited sections which are basicly the new sub projects. I use a siri shortcut to create a new task “siri never forget” what’s task “haircut” and it adds it to my todo list due at the moment it’s recorded, i later reschedule, prioritize and organize. My favorite part is opening todoist to “GROCERIES PROJECT” and then having my shopping list on my wrist to check and compete as i go instead of phone in and phone out of my pocket. Watch based app has been not as important as you I have todoist on my watch, i’ve added maybe 3 tasks, i have completed 5. Will have to adapt your logic a little todoist, work with projects and filters to create the work flow you desire. Other notes: MS my day planner where you can select the tasks to do that day is identical to going to todoist projects and rescheduling a task for today. What is their support like? what other unique features actually exist in MS todo or is it just MS ecosystems “here ya go cus we gotta provide one”. MS Cons, no text input recognition, it’s ms ecosystem does it really overlap, because outlook has its own task manager which is the same but entirely different, MS doesn’t really care they like google have a 1000 projects and honesty just bought out other platforms than developing their own. MS Pros, free, integrates with ms ecosystem sometimes more hassle, plan your day, that’s it. Empty space on web but i normally have a small window for todoist mama 1 corner or portrait monitor. Todoist Cons, sub tasks are difficult but work around are everywhere. They recently redid pro and free plans might wana check back in and evaluate the new free plan. Labels and filters are entirely custom and can create amazing workflows. You can sync different projects per google calendar. You are paying for integrations and labels. Project based calendars and direct to project emails are great for adding tasks from email. $36 is not expensive, i can find $36 in loose change a year. Todoist Pros, works on every platform, has text recognition this is the biggest and most important plus, projects/labels work really well. Switched over to make, i’m a bad reader maybe. Read it like 3 times to figure out where you What do you think guys? Currently, I am more inclined to Microsoft To Do being free, but does Todoist yearly sub for 36$ justify its features for me? as far as I heard, its UI design is inferior to Todoist perhaps biggest is absence of Apple Watch app MS bought Wunderlist so advanced features are inherited to it fits perfectly within my uni’s MS ecosystem (they use office as the enterprise system) expensive at 36$ when compared to Microsoft To Do’s free offering a lot of advanced features that I don’t remember exactly Here are rundown of cons and pros for me: I have stumbled upon these two apps, but I am not sure which is better long-term. I am exploring some software for university.
